Can your business take orders on GeM?

Can your business take orders on GeM?

GeM allows two broad types of sellers:

1. Product Sellers

Businesses that sell physical goods such as:

    • Electronics & IT products
    • Office furniture
    • Electrical items
    • Medical equipment
    •  Industrial supplies

You list your products in predefined categories with specifications and prices.

2. Service Providers

Businesses offering services such as:

    • Manpower services
    •  Security & housekeeping
    •  IT & software services
    •  Consultancy & professional services
    • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)

Services are listed differently from products, but the objective remains the same — government buys directly from you.
